1910 The company was formed to acquire the British Metalite Lamp and metal filament manufacturing business from Bryant Trading Syndicate and the business of International Filaments. The chairman was the chairman of West London and Provincial Electric Supply Co; another board member was chairman of the South London Electric Supply Corporation; the MD was Joseph Metcalfe; the engineer was Francis Robinson. Metal filaments were already being made in other European countries. Shares would be traded in London[1]. Claimed that the Metalite lamps had long life and were economical in operation[2]
