1890s Moved to London and studied at Finsbury College and became friends with Charles Stewart Rolls
1897 Working for Daimler in Coventry
1902 Set up Hamilton Motor Co and designed a car called the 'Shamrock' that was built by Payne and Bates
Later made motorcycles
1908 Married Edith Jane Burrell
1910 Went to work for Humber
1911 Living at "Glanrhos", Station Rd, Kenilworth: Charles A. Hamilton (age 36 born Goprtin, Co Tyrone), a general Engineer at Motor Works. With his wife Edith J. Hamilton (age 37 born Leicester) and their daughter Willelmina K. Hamilton (age 2 born Kenilwoth). [1]
Later worked at Rover under Peter August Poppe
Finally returned to Daimler
1956 Died
