1841 Lodging at Snow Hill, Wolverhampton: Edward Bramah (age around 50) a Lock Man [1] Note: This looks out of area for Edward but he does appear to be one of three lodgers at this address and the age given is only approximate in the 1841 census. It does say he was not born in this county.
1845 Marriage of his eldest daughter Mary Ann Bramah to Frederick St. John. Edward Bramah is of Guildford Street, Russell Square and the minister is the Rev. Joseph Bramah.[2]
1851 Living at 1 Guildford Street, London: Edward Bramah (age 62 born Pimlico), a Fundholder. With his wife Mary Ann (age 57 born London) and their children William (age 26 born Norwood), a Banker's Clerk; Caroline (age 24 born Norwood), Henry (age 19 born Norwood), a General Clerk; Emma (age 18 born Norwood) and Emily (age 15 born Norwood). One servant. [3]
1854 May 7th. Edward Bramah died at Marine Parade, Brighton age 66. Of 1 Guildford Street, Russell Square.[4]
