Imported in to the UK by Associated Manufacturers Co (Amanco).

Associated Manufacturers Co of Waterloo Iowa was a combination of the Iowa Dairy Separator Co. and the Sherman Smith Co of Independence, Iowa along with the newly founded engine works of Theodore C. Menges who applied and filed for a patent on the speed control dial/governor mechanism found on Associated built engines on October 28th 1909. This patent was issued on January 3rd 1911 as patent number 980,658.
