John Bruce King Macbeth (1858-1914)

JOHN BRUCE KING MACBETH was born at Greenock on 15th September 1858, being the son of the late Norman Macbeth, R.S.A., and brother of the late Norman Macbeth, Member, with whom he entered into partnership in 1882, under the name of Macbeth Brothers and Co., as machinery agents and engineers. Branches were subsequently established in Bombay and Calcutta.

His death took place in London, on 9th December 1914, at the age of fifty-six.

He was elected a Member of this Institution in 1888.
