Lucassen Young
Lucassen Young of Stockton-on-Tees, Cleveland designed and built the Clayton Buggi.
- It was first produced in 1992 and was based on a chassis with four-wheel drive through equal sized wheels, four-wheel hydrostatic steering and a large load area behind the cab. It also featured an automatic trailer braking system and an optional extra was three-point linkage.
- The Clayton Buggi was primarily designed for carrying a demountable sprayer, although the load space could be used for other jobs but it wasn't designed as a heavy duty tractor.
- The first version was powered by a John Deere 110 HP engine but later there were more powerful engine range options and there was the introduction of an extended wheelbase to allow greater space on the load platform.
- The Clayton Buggi became know later as the C-trac and in 1999 the name changed again to the Multidrive when the Multidrive Co bought the business.
