1881 Living at Brankfield, Kendal: William Williamson (age 49 born Kendal), Mechanical Engineer (Master) Employing 40 Men and 21 Boys; and Widower. With his daughter Jane E. Williamson (age 21 born Staveley, Westm.).[2]
