1953 Obituary [1]

We have learned with regret of the death, on January 18th, of Monsieur Pierre de Malglaive, who for a number of years was Agent General of the French Line in the United Kingdom. He was seventy-two.

Monsieur de Malglaive was appointed managing director of the Compagnie Generate Transatlantique, Ltd., London, in 1934, and was elected chairman of the board in July, 1945.

He retired at the end of 1949 and shortly afterwards returned to his home at Versailles.
