1927 - April. The Minister of Transport appointed Mr. C. W. Hurcomb, Principal Assistant Secretary of The Ministry of Transport, to be Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Transport in place of Mr J. R. Brooke who had been appointed by the Central Electricity Board to be its secretary.[1]
