1954 Bio Note [1]

Mr. Young joined the firm of D. Napier and Sons in 1943 and worked in the development department, mainly on aircraft piston engines, until 1949. In August of that year he was appointed to the Mechanical Engineering Research Laboratory as a Scientific Officer.
