Ironmongers of Yeovil

John Petter, of Barnstaple, purchased the business as a wedding gift for his son, James Bazeley Petter.

1865 James received the ironmongery firm as a present from his father on his marriage. He developed the business and other related businesses in Yeovil, eventually becoming part of James B. Petter and Sons
