1973 Bio Note [1]

A. T. J. Hayward, MSc(Eng), PhD, FlPet, Member, has spent the whole of his career in the British Government Scientific Service, first at the Road Research Laboratory and, for the past 19 years, at NEL, where he is a Principal Scientific Officer and Deputy Head of the Flow Measurement Division of the Laboratory. His major interest is the physics of liquids and he has published about 40 scientific and technical papers in this field.

He is also a member of the British Society of Rheology and the Institute of Physics.
