1973 Bio Note [1]

A. Wilkin, Member, was educated at Huntingdon Grammar School and Luton College of Technology. On completion of his apprenticeship at Geo. W. King in 1954 he worked in the Design department of the company becoming Section Engineer in 1960. He has been concerned with the design and development of standard and special purpose mechanical handling equipment involving conveyors and pulley blocks and is currently responsible for mechanical development engineering at Geo W King,

He is on the Technical Committee of the Lifting Equipment Manufacturers Association.
