Career: Owens College (Victoria University), Manchester. Resident Engineer, Preston Dock and Harbour Works; Engineer-in-Charge of New Junction Canal (Aire & Calder Navigation); Resident Engineer, Manchester Ship Canal; Assistant Water Engineer to Air Ministry. Prepared scheme for utilizing Tidal Power on River Severn.
