  • 1922-29 Resident Engr.on New Works, with S.R.;
  • 1929-31 Eng. Asst. to Chief Engr., S.R.
  • 1931-36 Asst. Divisional Engr., London East Division, S.R.
  • 1936 appointed Divisional Engr., Eastleigh. Lieut.-Col. in Royal Engrs. (Transportation) S.R.
