1910 Obituary [1]

HUGH MELLER BRADFORD died on April 13, 1909, in Tasmania.

He was born at Stafford in 1863, and was articled to his father, who was an engineer of the London & North-Western Railway at Swansea.

He was for a number of years connected with the Dowlais Iron Company, and subsequently held an appointment on the West Coast of Africa.

He was elected a member of the Iron and Steel Institute in 1898.
