1894 Partnership change. '...the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, Sydney Harry Cropper, Charles Arthur Charlton, Arthur Shelbourne, James Caldwell Hole, Henry Ernest Newstead, and Henry Chetwin, carrying an business as Engineers and Machinists, at Parkinson-street, Nottingham, under the style or firm of the Cropper Machines Company, has been dissolved, by mutual consent, as and from the 18th day of May, 1894. All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid by the said Sydney Harry Cropper, Charles Arthur Charlton, Arthur Shelbourae, James Caldwell Hole, and Henry Ernest Newstead, who will continue to carry on the said business alone...'
