Hansen Shipbuilding and Repairing Co. was a shipbuilding company based in Northam, Bideford, Devon, England. It was established in 1919 by Sven Wohlford Hansen, a Norwegian shipbuilder with a previous successful history of shipbuilding in Cardiff.

Shipbuilding=

  • 1900s - Prior to 1919, the yard had mainly built coasters and Hansen continued this tradition.
  • 1920s - After building three coasters for his own fleet, the freight slump of the 1920s bankrupted Hansen and the yard closed down in 1924.
