Airbus Defence and Space

Airbus Defence and Space is a division of Airbus Group responsible for defence and aerospace products and services. The division was formed in January 2014 during the corporate restructuring of European Aeronautic Defense and Space (EADS), and comprises the former Airbus Military, Astrium, and Cassidian divisions.
Their facilities in the United Kingdom are at Newport, Portsmouth and Stevenage
Astrium (a subsidiary of Airbus Group) is the largest space company in Europe and employs around 2,700 people in the UK. It has sites at Stevenage (1,200 employees), Portsmouth (1,400 employees) and Poynton (120 employees).[1]
