1926 - December. They acquired as a growing concern the wire and cable section of Fuller's United Electric Works.[1]

1947 Was a member of the Cable Makers' Association[2]

1960 As part of the rationalisation of production amongst its subsidiaries BICC decided that Metropolitan Electric Cable and Construction Co would cease production[3]

1961 Wire, cable and general electrical manufacturers. [4]
