1857 Married. 'At Calcutta, on the 16th November last, by special license, at St. Paul's Cathedral, by the Rev. H. Moule, James Perry, Esq., district engineer, East Indian Railway, to Mima, fourth daughter of the late James Fairbairn, Esq., of Edinblurgh.'[1]

1859 Birth of son. 'At Hooghly, Calcutta on the 15th February, the wife, of James Perry, Esq., C.E., district engineer, East Indian Railway; a son.'[2]

1860 Birth of daughter. 'At 15 London Street, Edinburgh, on the 21st instant, the wife of James Perry, Esq., C0E., East Indian Railway; a daughter.'[3]
