With his wife Anne Lee (age 35 born Cambridge) and their seven children; William Lee (age 13 born Cambridge); Emma Lee (age 11 born Cambridge); Sophia M. Lee (age 9 born Cambridge); Arthur Hy. Lee (age 7 born Wolverhampton); Martha Lee (age 6 born Wolverhampton); Annie Lee (age 4 born Wolverhampton); and Matilda Lee (age 1 born Lincoln).[2]
1861 Patent 'Joseph Lee and Benjamin Dutton Taplin, Lincoln, for improvements in the manufacture of portable or traction steam engines, and in apparatus for cutting joints' heads of connecting rods and other articles; dated 27th May.'[3]
