John Newton Mappin (1835-1913) of Mappin Brothers and Mappin and Webb

1835 October 5th. Born in Sheffield the son of Joseph Mappin

1860 Married in Brixton to Ellen Elizabeth Webb

1871 Living at Blackheath Road, Charlton, London: John N. Mappin (age 35 born Yorkshire), Cutler. With his wife Ellen Mappin (age 31 born Surrey) and their four children; Constance Mappin (age 6 born Surrey); Bertrice Mappin (age 4 born Surrey); Walter Mappin (age 3 born Surrey); and George Mappin (age 1 born Surrey). Seven servants.[1]
