John Mason Cook (1834–1899), travel agent

1834 Born at Quaker's Yard, Market Harborough, son of Thomas Cook and his wife, Marianne

1864 Became a partner in his father's business, the firm then assuming the style of Thos. Cook and Son.

1868 Organised the first tourist steamer on the River Nile
