1914 Obituary [1]

EDWIN LEADBEATER died on June 9, 1914, at the age of seventy-four.

He was born in Sheffield, and at an early age emigrated to the United States, where he gained valuable business experience. He subsequently became the founder and senior partner of the firm of Leadbeater & Scott, steel manufacturers, Penistone Road, Sheffield.

He was elected a member of the Iron and Steel Institute in 1905.
