A. B. Chadwick
1966 Obituary[1]
"WE regret to record the death on October 15 of Mr. A. B. Chadwick, former publicity manager of Leyland Motors Ltd. Mr. Chadwick, who was sixty-nine, had been in charge of Leyland's publicity for thirty-five years until his retirement in June 1962. After service with a regular commission in the Royal Artillery from 1915 to the end of the First World War, he joined Leyland Motors Ltd. as an engineering apprentice in April 1919. With the advent of the Trojan light car he was appointed to the sales staff as a demonstrator, later becoming responsible for the sales contract office for that vehicle. He returned from the company's Kingston upon Thames factory to the Leyland headquarters in 1927 to take charge of the publicity department."
