Anderson Rodger and Co. of East Port, Glasgow
1891 Anderson Rodger took over the Bay yard from Russell and Co when the partnership between Joseph Russell, Anderson Rodger and William Todd Lithgow was dissolved.
1890s The yard initially made three masted barques, and up to 1912 twenty of 120 ships made were sailing ships.
1900s The yard made large oil-carriers for the Anglo-American Oil Co.
1901 Ebenezer Hall-Brown became engineering partner.
1905 Engineering 15th September 1905 had an article on the 140 BHP and 300 BHP producer gas engines made to drive generators at their own works, made under the patents of Prof W. T. Rowden. They were also reported to be building ten engines and producer gas plant for the works of Argyll Motors
1909 Anderson Rodger died.
1912 The Bay yard came under Lithgows control, trading under the Russell name again. One ship made by the yard Glenlee is currently a museum ship moored on the Clyde.
