AEI: Traction

This is a subsection of AEI

Both of the main constituent companies were involved in making electric traction equipment:

1960 AEI reorganised its 3 main operating companies into product divisions[1], one of which specialized in traction equipment. This was part of the Industrial Products Group.

1967 After the take-over by GEC, the AEI Traction activities were concentrated in one factory at Sheffield[2]

1969 Presumably became part of English Electric-AEI Traction
