'... the Partnership heretofore Carried oil between us the undersigned, George Addy, John Addy, and James Cocker, of Sheffield, in the County of York, Razor and Table-Knife-Manufacturers, was this day dissolved by mutual consent, so far as regards the said James Cocker. — All debts due or owing to or from the said late Copartnership will be received and paid by the said George Addy and John Addy, by whom the said trades will in future be carried on...'[1]
