Air Navigation and Engineering Co (ANEC). of Addlestone, Surrey, builders of aircraft and cars.
In 1919 the company succeeded the wartime Bleriot and Spad Engineering Company; also see Bleriot Ltd. The first aircraft they built was the high-wing ANEC-1 fitted with a Blackburne Tomtit modified motorcycle engine.
Chief designer was W. S. Shackleton who later joined William Beardmore and Co.
Agent for Bleriot automobiles
Made light cars for Eric Longden Cars.
1920 Produced the Whippet (previously called the Jones-Marchant after its designers)
1926 The last aircraft was built.
1927 Ceased trading
