SIMON HILTON, (Late Hilton and Simpson,) In continuing the business of ENGINEER, MILLWRIGHT, AND IRONFOUNDER at the above works, acknowledges with thanks the support hitherto received by the late firm, and begs to say that by prompt attention to all orders and the satisfactory execution of all work entrusted to him he will endeavour to merit the continued favour his numerous friends.'[1]
1875 Simon Hilton announced that he was moving from Grime Street to Salt-Pie Yard, White Lion Brow, Bolton, where he would continue as an engineer, millwright, etc. [2]
