McDougall of Newcastle-on-Tyne; m. to E. M. Webster, youngest d. of H. F. Webster of Darlington, in 1916. Ed. Rutherford College and Durham University College of Science. Trained at Mansfield, Gibson and Co., Newcastle, and at A. Reyrolle and Co., Ltd., Hebburn-on-Tyne. To the outbreak of war with the North Eastern Railway Co., in Chief Mechanical Engineer's Electrical Department, at Tyne Dock, Gateshead, Middlesbrough, and Darlington districts. Responsible for the practical side of the Dock Power Supply and distribution at Middlesbrough Docks, 1912-13. Now Superintendent of mains, meters and overhead tramway equipment departments of the Delhi Tramways and Electric Lighting Co., Ltd. Member of the Delhi Club, India. War Services.-1914-16—with Submarine Miners, mine laying and maintaining D.P.F. stations. 1916-17—Lieutenant in Royal Engineers, engaged erecting anti-aircraft plant. 1917-19—appointed Technical Adviser on anti-aircraft work to the A. A. D.C., Edinburgh.
