Early 1900s was one of the three largest electrical firms in Germany

1904 Absorbed Union Electricity (Thomson-Houston) Co of Berlin[1]

1907 AEG appointed a visionary architect, Professor Peter Behrens, as Artistic Consultant.

1909 AEG disposed of their English installation, engineering and consumers' business to A. E. G. Electric Co who were prepared to quote for all AEG manufactures from glow lamps to Turbo-Dynamos[2]
