c1858 Born in Sheffield the son of Jonathan Beardshaw, Merchant, and his wife Elizabeth

1911 Living at 21 Marlborough Road, Ecclesall, Sheffield: Arthur Beardshaw (age 53 born Sheffield), Brass Founder - Employer. With his wife Ada Beardshaw (age 49 born Sheffield) and their son Bertram Beardshaw (age 27 born Sheffield), Manager at Brass Foundry. One servant.[1]

1939 August 23rd. Died, of 63 Kingfield Road, Sheffield. Probate to his widow Ada and to Harry Croxen, brassfounder.

1839 Will. Head of the firm of Joseph Beardshaw and Co.[2]
