1922 Assoc.M.Inst.C.E., Civil Engineer (Dock and Harbour), 103, Clarendon Road, Southsea, Hants. b. 1883; s. of Captain Matheson; m. Amy Muriel Blight. Ed. Plymouth College. Civil Engineering pupil with Sir John Jackson, at the Keyham Dockyard Extension Works. Spent 9 years with Sir John Jackson, at the Keyham Dockyard Extension Works, 6 months with Walter Scott and Middleton, and the rest of the time has been in the employ of the Admiralty Works Department, occupying respective positions as follows: Civil Engineering Assistant, Assistant Civil Engineer, Civil Engineer. Chief Works: Keyham Dockyard Extension Works, involving an expenditure of three millions; Queens' Dock, Belfast; Portsmouth Dockyard New Lock Works; Royal Air Force Training Establishment, Clanwell, where at present Officer in Charge of Works.
