1914 Obituary 
ARTHUR HENRY COOPER died on March 16, 1914, at Llandudno, at the age of thirty-nine. He was the eldest son of Mr. Arthur Cooper, Past-President of the Iron and Steel Institute.
He commenced his business career in the North-Eastern Steelworks, Middlesbrough, and was afterwards for some time at the Clarence Works.
In 1910 he accepted an appointment with the Partington Steel and Iron Co., and under his supervision this company's extensive works at Partington and Irlam were constructed. After the completion of the works he acted as managing director.
He was elected a member of the Iron and Steel Institute in 1896. During the visit of the Institute in 1908 to Middlesbrough he rendered valuable services on the Local Reception Committee.
