c1887 Born in Birmingham the son of William Thurman, a Milliner, and his wife Susannah

1889 Married Katherine Charlton

1901 Living at 23 Bellefield Road, Birmingham: Arthur J. Thurman (age 34 born Birmingham), Machine Tool Maker - Employer. With his wife Katherine Thurman (age 34 born Birmingham) and their three children; Arthur R. Thurman (age 11 born Birmingham); Lilian G. Thurman (age 5 born Birmingham); and Roland A. Thurman (age 2 born Birmingham).[1]

1934 March 18th. Died and buried Quinton Cemetery, Halesowen
