1891 Mining engineer, living in Lichfield, with Catherine S Sopwith 39 , Anna Gwenmore Sopwith 11, George Ernest Sopwith 8, Sydney Sheldon Sopwith 4[2]

1894 Presided at the first general meeting that year of the Federated Institution of Mining Engineers[3]

1920 Died in Lichfield[4]
