Auto Engineering Co of Stoney Stanton Road, Coventry produced motorcycles as AEC
1914 Founded by Joseph William Wareing
1914 In July of that year a single model was introduced. It had a 211cc two-speed, two-stroke engine that drove to a two-speed, crossover gearbox by chain and belt final-drive. Steel strips kept the engine in place in the frame and it was fitted with Saxon forks. In most other respects it resembled other makes of that period. Little more was heard of AEC following the start of World War I a month later.
Little came of the make as World War I started the following month.
