Makers of 'Climax' water tube boilers patented by Thomas F. Morrin of New Jersey, USA. These were vertical boilers, having a central water tube connected to and surrounded by loop-shaped projecting water tubes, all encased by a wrought iron shell lined with firebricks. The annular space formed the combustion chamber and flue. The boiler incorporated a feed heater and superheater[1]

1911 Issued catalogue. Climax underfeed stoker.[3]
1911 Details on their Vertical Spindle Surface Grinder.[4]
1927 Supplied 28 double-ended dry grinding machines for New Zealand Railways [5].
1934 Universal Grinding Wheel Co acquired the whole capital of B. R. Rowland and Co, subsequently absorbed the assets and liquidated the company[6]
