1840 Company established by Stephen Barker.

1882 The business was purchased by James and Samuel Allen.

1883 It became Barker and Allan

1896 Opened a new factory at Springhill where they had a rolling mill for wire and for metal sheets

1899 Incorporated as a private limited company on 28 January to acquire the business of German silver manufacturers carried on by James Allen and Samuel Allen as Barker and Allen.

1963 Delta Metal Co acquired Enfield Rolling Mills.
