1842 Sale notice: by order of the assignees of Messrs Hardy, Threlfall and Co, bankrupts: cotton preparation and spinning machinery made by Walker, Smith and Co of Bury. Plant included a 40 HP steam engine by R. Walker and Brother.[1]
