1956 Acquired Strand Electric Ltd from Strand Electric and Engineering Co; the company would be renamed Beck and Pollitzer (Electric) Ltd, specialising in exhibition lighting[1]

1961 With International Trade Fairs Ltd (owned by George Newnes Ltd and Financial Times Ltd, acquired F. W. Bridges and Sons, exhibition organisers[2]
