1861 Living at 4 Russell Street, Halifax: Benjamin Clough (age 37 born Leeds), Weighing Machine Maker employing 5 men. With his wife Martha, five daughters and three sons.[1]

1866 March 27th. Died, of Halifax, Weighing Machine Maker and Blacksmith. Probate to his widow Martha Clough.
