1920 Benmore Distilleries Limited, a company registered in England, was incorporated. It acquired the Benmore Distillery in Campbeltown, formerly owned by Bulloch Lade and Co. The company took over Lochhead Distillery, also in Campbeltown, Lochindaal Distillery on Islay and the Speyside distillery of Dallas Dhu.
1929 The company's entire share capital was acquired for cash by the Distillers Co[1]
1993 The company was finally wound up.[2]
