Born in Ireland the son of Barton Anderson and his wife Elizabeth Kennedy

1871 Acting Agent and Manager of the Madras Railway.[1]

1876 Left India on sick leave

1876 Married at the British Embassy, Paris, to Dora O'Shaughnessy and had seven daughters and two sons

1917 June 28th. Died at Parame, France. Formerly Chief Engineer of the Madras Railway.[2]
