1884 September 15th. Born at Newark the son of Redmond Parker Cafferata and his wife Ellen Barton

1911 Living at Harrowby House, Grantham: Redmond Parker Cafferata (age 64 born Liverpool), Manufacturer of Plaster of Paris, Keener and Parian Cements, Building Bricks - Employer. With his wife Ellen Cafferata (age 59 born Newark) and their six children; Louis William Cafferata (age 35 born Newark), manager to business; Bernard Joseph Cafferata (age 26 born Newark), Civil Engineer; Francesca Cafferata (age 39 born Newark); Beatrice Cafferata (age 37 born Newark); Helen Mary Cafferata (age 21 born Innham); and Dorothy Margaret Cafferata (age 17 born Nottingham). Five servants.[1]
