Blaina Iron and Coal Co

1869 The Blaina Iron and Coal Company was formed to revive the Blaina Iron Works, and several furnaces were put into operation.

1871 The company purchased the Nantyglo and Beaufort Ironworks, and was renamed the Nantyglo and Blaina Iron Works Company (Limited) with John Richardson as managing director.

1878 However, the worsening conditions saw all the assets sold off in 1878
