Bluecrest Foods
Bluecrest was owned by Legal & General Ventures.
1999 Merger with United Biscuits's Young's seafood business to create the largest seafood business in the UK. UB and LGV (and its associates) each held 44% of equity of the business. Management and other finance providers held the balance.
