Whisky distillers, of Newbridge, Hardgate, Aberdeen
1855 The distillery was established on the site of a former brewery, using equipment from the dismantled Union Glen Distillery. The distillery was a major producer of pot still malt whisky
1876 The Bon-Accord Distillery Company Limited was incorporated
1885 After several earlier, smaller fires, the distillery suffered major damage in another blaze
1896 The company went into voluntary liquidation. The distillery was subsequently acquired by Dailuaine-Talisker Distilleries Limited, which operated as it as the North of Scotland Distillery Company, until final closure in 1913
